JANUARY 28, 9AM – 3:30PM (Snow date Tues, Feb 4) Caring Clergy Training United Baptist Church 39 Fayette St., Concord, NH An Inter-faith Program to provide compassionate funerals after overdose. The Training will include a presentation of Substance Use and Addiction, sharing from parents whose children have struggled with Substance Use Disorder, discussion of what makes this kind of funeral just like any other and what makes it unique, and resources so you will know how to refer someone or their family as they confront addiction. This training may be able to be used for continuing education credits. The cost is $15.00 per person, which includes lunch. If cost is an issue, no one will be turned away. Caring Clergy have been trained to:

  1. Honor the person beyond their substance use disorder
  2. Celebrate the fullness of the person and bring words of hope to a time of darkness
  3. Help others as they grieve
